Bought the truck to use as my new daily driver and for
camping. I want to be able to get into the camping spots without
destroying the bottom of my car. It would also be nice to be able to drive
in the snow without worry. The stock 2.8 motor needed a carb rebuilt in
order for it to run. I decided that I wanted to go with a small block
chevy instead. It all started from that.
-
Install 3" Body Lift/Bushings/Lift Bumpers
-
Swap 2.8 -> Chevy 350
-
Either 31" or 33" BFG AT's, probably 33's (fender trim)
-
Clean up the underside and re-paint it
-
Repair the body paint the truck white
-
Freshen up the interior
-
Dual Optima Blue Top Batteries
-
New Shocks (Air in the back)
-
New brakes
-
1" Torsion Bar lift up front
-
Re-arch the rear springs 1"-1.5"'s
-
Powder Coat as much as I can
Basically I plan on making everything like new or as close
as possible. It will have a lot of the major things replaced.
